This is a pretty postcard of the Vieux Carre in New Orleans, LA postmarked 1953. The absolute perfect piece to add some New Orleans charm to any space!

The postcard description is as follows: "Vieux Carre, literally translated, means "Old Square." It represents the New Orleans founded by Bienville more than two hundred years ago. Many of its most enchanting buildings and picturesque courtyards have been preserved to this day. These pictures show 1) St. Anthony's Alley, 2) An Old French Courtyard, 3) Little Theatre Courtyard, 4) St. Peter Street, and 5) Cabildo & Old Spanish Court Bldg."
